It handles litigation and advisory work for companies and individuals, concentrating on health insurance and medical law, consumer law, banking law, debt recovery and business law. Consultations are by appointment only.
The practice
Business law and litigation. Those two phrases describe what the office has done for four decades · representing clients in cases and court proceedings, defending the rights and interests of whoever retains the firm, whether a company or an individual.
Keeping the office deliberately small is a choice. It means the client speaks with the lawyer who handles the case, not with an intermediate layer.
Health insurance and medical law
Moisés Mizrahy holds a postgraduate qualification in Medical Law (Direito Médico) and works frequently on health plan matters · coverage denials, premium increases, waiting periods, unilateral terminations, and what Brazilian consumer legislation and the rules of the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) provide in each situation.
He also writes and lectures on the subject, with articles published since 2012.
